Our Impact

Black Forest Together Recovery Center

When the Black Forest Fire of 2013 struck, we felt the same overwhelming devastation as our neighbors and the hundreds of community members who watched their home get destroyed. It was that complete heartbreak that called us into action. Black Forest Together is a 501(3) charitable organization dedicated to the restoration of our forest, and we are proud to have the support of our fellow forest members and the entirety of Colorado Springs behind us. Together, we have been able to clean up hundreds of trees, rebuild dozens of properties, transplant new saplings and help organizations prepare against future forest fires. You can read more about the impact at Black Forest Community here, or contact us for more information.
